Christoph Brech accompanies the music and stage action of the opera with associative images. His video films span a wide arc from the microcosm of the human body to the macrocosm of outer space. Projected onto the stage backdrop, they form the conclusion of the stage space, but at the same time also represent a departure into the contemporary, attempting in this way to approach the personality of Wilhelmine von Bayreuth.
